Hier noch ein paar Informationen zu uns:
Frank:
Angefangen hat alles 1988, zusammen mit DJ Diva, Essen, wurde Diva Performance gegründet.
Mit nicht mehr als einem Holztisch, einem kleinen Plastikkarteikasten und einem Telefon startete eine Konzertagentur, die EBM Musik auf den Markt brachte.
Damals wollte diese Musik niemand hören, auf jeden Fall nicht die breite Masse.
Es ist jetzt 19 Jahre her und ich kann zurückblicken auf Gruppen, die es bis in die Spitze der Musikszene geschafft haben.
Unter den Künstlern, die wir damals (1988-1993) auf die Bühne gebracht haben waren:

The Fair Sex - Calva y Nada - Leaether Strip - Gitane Demon......
Von 1993 – 1995 machte ich Labelarbeit bei der Sound Factory (Bochum)
Tour-Koodination unter anderem für Escape with Romeo (Wave), Bellicoons (Pop) und die WDR-RuhrRock-Gewinner THE FRITS (Ska).
Von 1995 an war ich mehrere Jahre mit der Organisation und Durchführung von ca. 420 Single-Partys in Zusammenarbeit mit dem größten Stadtmagazin in NRW, COOLIBRI, betraut.
Die „Herz beißt Haifisch“-Parties wurden von ca. 350.000 Menschen besucht.
Bis heute die wahrscheinlich progressivste Single-Party Deutschlands.
Dann war erstmal Schluss mit Musik und Veranstaltungen.
Doch jetzt sind wir zurück.
Mit der Idee, wieder neue Musik nach Deutschland zu bringen.
Ich finde, es sollte Schluss sein mit Popstars, Superstars und wie auch immer gearteten gecasteten Bands, die oft genug noch nicht einmal ein Instrument spielen können.
Der Anfang ist gemacht mit Country Bob and the Bloodfarmers, einer wirklich authentischen Truppe aus den USA und viele andere werden folgen.
Marion:
Die Bürofee… will heißen, bei DIVAMUSIC ergänzen sich Kreativität (Frank) und Organisation (Marion) – halte dem Mastermind den Rücken frei und kümmere mich um das Büro, neu-deutsch auch gern backkoffice genannt, das auch unter schwierigen Bedingungen und mit manchmal ungewohnten Lösungsansätzen. „Es gibt kein Problem ohne passende Lösung“.
Musik höre ich, seit ich denken kann. Und ich habe gelernt, dass die beste Musik die von Künstlern ist, die Spaß an dem haben, was sie tun.

Frank:
verything started in 1988 together with DJ Diva, Essen DIVA PERFORMANCE
was founded.
We started a concert artists’ agency launching EBM music sitting around a wooden table, using a little plastic cardbox and a telephone.Not many people were interested in listening to this kind of music in that days, at least not the rank and file (the mass-market so to say) that’s for sure.
It is now 19 years ago and I can look back on bands that finally made their way to the top of the music biz.
Among those we brought on stage in that days (1988 – 1993) were artists like:

From 1993 until 1995 I worked for SOUND FACTORY and did label work.
Did the coordination of the tours (amongst others) for Escape with Romeo
(Wave), Bellicoons (Pop) and the WDR-RuhrRock-winners THE FRITS (Ska).
From 1995 I organized and executed approximately 420 parties for singles and worked together with the biggest town magazine/ gazette in North Rhine-Westphalia, the “COOLIBRI.
The „Herz beißt Haifisch“-parties (translation of the party’s name is “heart bites shark”) were joined by almost 350.000 people
’Til today this was and I presume it still is the most progressive party for singles in Germany.
Then we took a break from music business and events.
But now we are back.
Our idea is to bring fresh and new music to Germany again.
In my opinion it is time to stop all this casting stuff such as “popstars”, “superstars” and all the other casted bands and artists who most of the time are not even able to play an instrument.
We did a start with Country Bob and the Bloodfarmers, a genuine, authentic band from the United States, and many others will follow.
Marion:
ixie of the office… at DIVAMUSIC creativity (Frank) and organization (Marion) complement one another – means I keep our mastermind free and take care of the office (also called backkoffice) even in difficult situations and sometimes by finding unusual but workable solutions if necessary. „There is no problem we do not find an adequate and working solution for“.
I am listening to music as long as I can remember. And I learned that the best music is the music from artists who enjoy what they
are doing.
